Mo joined Sandland Packaging recently and values how supportive the team has been as he settles in. He’s drawing on his sales experience to build relationships and generate leads. Outside work, he’s passionate about music and is planning a DJ event next summer.

How long have you worked at Sandland Packaging?

Where did you work before?

I previously worked at a EV Charger supplier providing technical support and customer services.

How did you find Sandland Packaging when you first joined?

A relaxed environment is the first thing I noticed.

What is the best thing about working at Sandland Packaging?

The people I work with are great, they work hard, they are upbeat, welcoming and helpful.

How has your career progressed?

I feel like I am doing well. I have been given the tools and information I need and I have the freedom to carry out my role how I see fit. Although I have over a decade in sales experience I have not worked in a sales environment for over a decade but Sandland Packaging is the perfect fit for me as a person and the transition into this role has been seamless.

What kind of music genre do you like?

Drum and Bass, Hip-hop & Anything with Live Instruments. I love discovering new music that nobody has heard and I like sharing it.

What is your favourite drink?

Coffee, Milk is last

What are your Interests?

I’m a sim racer in my spare time, I support Manchester United and I love Drum and Bass Music, I was a DJ and Events promotor for 20 years and I also love walking in nature.

How do you cope with pressure?

To cope with pressure, I will create a plan to do things the most efficient way and stick to it. In the past performing in front of huge crowds, running my own events business and working in various industries has allowed me to pick of skills and habits which naturally reduce help me reduce pressure.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

In times of doubt, remember who you are, remember what you have achieved and that you are loved my many people.

What’s something you’re planning on doing in the next year that you’ve never done?

I stopped djing live and putting on events during Covid. I am looking to an event or next summer.

What was the worst job you ever had?

Working in a parcel sorting role when I was 18
