Starting as a small operation in the West Midlands, Sandland Packaging has grown to become the region’s leading bespoke box manufacturer. Recent investments in new leadership, machinery, and software have fuelled our growth, targeting a turnover of over £10M + in 2025.

Founded by Andy Sandland in the heart of Bilston, West Midlands.

Early expansion of operations to meet growing demand.

Major investment in advanced machinery to boost production capabilities.

Achieved ISO 9001 certification, reinforcing quality management systems.

Expanded product range to include die-cut and custom-printed boxes.

Relocated to our Loxdale Street Site.

Underwent a management buyout led by Robin Welch, Andy Batha, Martin and Jo Hickman, supported by £5.5 million in funding and became the first UK corrugated sheet plant to achieve full Carbon Neutral® status, offsetting Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

  • Rebranded with a refreshed identity centered on Passion, Excellence, and Trust; continued focus on bespoke packaging.

Retained PAS2060 Carbon Neutral® certification for the third consecutive year, achieving a 17.15% total carbon footprint reduction since 2021. Successfully retained both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, reaffirming quality and environmental standards.

Invested in new Machinery including MD Mini MIDAS Plus Casemaker to fulfil small packaging requirements, furthering our pride and commitment in designing and manufacturing Any Box, Any Size.

In 2025 we have already furthered our commitment to helping our customers with their packaging requirements by investing in a new additional 40,000 ft² site, enhancing stock management, streamlining production, and increasing service capabilities. ​
