Sandland Packaging has confirmed senior leadership changes, positioning the business for its next phase of growth and continued success. Martin Hickman, currently Managing Director, will become Chief Executive Officer. Andy Batha, currently Sales Director, will take over from Martin as Managing Director, working closely with Jo Hickman, Commercial Director.

In their new roles, Martin will provide strategic leadership and help shape the company’s long-term direction, with Andy maintaining operational momentum and delivering the company’s commercial priorities. The senior leadership team have worked successfully together since the management buyout in January 2020.

Martin Hickman confirmed, “Having run Sandland Packaging as Managing Director for the past twenty-two years it is time to focus on the strategic development of the business. We have a strong team proving the best bespoke corrugated packaging to our loyal customers and I’m very much looking forward to continuing to build on our success for the next phase of growth.”

Andy Batha confirmed, “It’s been brilliant to successfully lead a brilliant team to deliver sales growth for Sandland Packaging and I am very much looking forward to extending my responsibility across the day-to-day leadership of the business. Sandland Packaging is a fantastic business with a dedicated team and I can’t wait to continue our growth and success.”

The team at Sandland Packaging are currently overseeing investment in new machinery due to start production in Q4 which will increase capability and capacity. They are confident that this transition will strengthen the business and support its continued success and thank everyone for their ongoing commitment.
