Happy Great Big Green Week 2025!

Each year, communities across the UK come together to celebrate The Great Big Green Week – a national week of events and action to tackle climate change and protect nature. Launched by The Climate Coalition, this initiative is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to combat climate change.

What is The Great Big Green Week 2025?

The core aim of The Great Big Green Week is to raise awareness about climate change and inspire people to take local and national action. Whether it’s switching to greener habits, lobbying for environmental policies, or simply spreading the word, the week is about showing that we all have a part to play in protecting our planet.

How You Can Help the Planet and Spread Awareness

• Make Small Lifestyle Changes: Walk or cycle instead of driving, cut down on plastic use, recycle properly, and conserve energy at home.

Sandland’s Support for Compton Care Green Week

Compton Care is marking the week by promoting second-hand shopping and donations to help reduce landfill waste – All while raising vital funds for those living with life-limiting conditions. It’s a win / win for people and our planet.
